Massachusetts Veterans’ Benefits and Services Labor Law Notice



Massachusetts has enacted a new labor law requiring employers with more than 50 full-time employees to display a Veterans’ Benefits and Services poster. Effective November 6, 2024, this mandate ensures that veterans in the workforce are informed about the resources available to them.

The poster provides essential information on services and resources available to veterans, including:




  • Contact details for the Executive Office of Veterans' Services and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs


  • Substance abuse and mental health treatment resources


  • Educational and job training opportunities


  • Tax benefits and legal services



Display Obligations:




  • Employers must post this notice in a conspicuous location within the workplace that is easily accessible to all employees.


  • The notice must also be distributed to each employee at the start of their employment and on an annual basis thereafter.
